PINEDA COVALIN
Commercial Interactive installation
March 19, Fábrica La Aurora, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, MX.
Commissioned by the luxury fashion brand Pineda Covalin, we developed a series of interactive installations inspired by representative Mexican insects for their museum in the beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato.
The monarch butterfly, the dragonfly, the firefly and the cricket are some of the insects that chose Mexico as their home, their immense beauty shows us the will of their great spirit. These four installations are a tribute to this incredible nature and beauty that surrounds us.
For this exhibition we carried out 4 interactive experiences that consisted of reactive led lights with a motion sensor that simulated the luminescent effect generated by fireflies, an experience with generative visuals of a dragonfly recorded with an interactive digital microscope, a game with a motion sensor to simulate jumps of cricket through a 3D environment displayed on a screen. And finally a VR experience to learn about the life process of the monarch butterfly.
