TYCHO MAGNETIC ANOMALLY

MUTEK MÉXICO

Immersive Installation

November 24-25th 2018 La Fábrica, CDMX

Tycho Magnetic Anomally, an interactive installation based on the study of outer space and its relationship with the human being. It is a tribute to Arthur C. Clark and takes as inspiration his Odyssey in Space. The monoliths help to create and symbolize, great leaps in the evolution towards a higher life form. The discovery of this magnetic anomaly in the lunar crater Tycho, raises an enigma of origin, it could not be shaped by nature given its exact ratio of: 1: 4: 9, its origin is determined by non-human intelligence.

It acts as a spatial portal that allows visitors to interact with generative art and sensors that seek to move us to a sequence of spaces that exceed the dimensions and elevate us to higher instances.

Designed and produced by INTUS Interactive Design.
